Job Summary
Advanced SMT Process Engineer responsible for investigating and developing new SMT processes, driving cost and efficiency improvements, and supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment at manufacturing sites. Works with site Process Engineering teams and cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth, zero-defect 0 PPM product launch. Develops equipment and standard time quotations for new business opportunities, creates robust manufacturing processes for new component types, and collaborates with Design Engineering to establish and maintain VEC standards for current and future products. Preferred: SolidWorks or CAD, programming (PLC/GLC, C++, VB, SQL), experience with SMT processes (solder printing, component mounting, adhesive, reflow, AOI and SPI), vision systems (Keyence, Cognex); travel <30%.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or other engineering technology
