Job Summary
Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Advanced Patient Care Technician (APCT) to provide emergency care, support patient needs, and collaborate with medical staff in a hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited EMT program.
- Current state certification or license required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (upon hire or within 90 days).
- Flexible schedule — weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts required.
- Ability to work full-time (36 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of direct medical clinical experience preferred.
- Strong service excellence skills to support quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Ability to prioritize patient needs based on severity.
- Strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently as needed.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and EMR systems.
- Commitment to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 35 lbs, and utilize proper body mechanics.
