Job Summary
Extract insights from structured and unstructured data by synthesizing large volumes of information using statistical methods and machine learning techniques. Develop solutions to yield and defect improvement problems by leveraging knowledge of manufacturing processes, inline metrology, and data visualization tools. Independently drive recommendations to influence the yield improvement roadmap and prepare detailed reports summarizing device health. Work with cross-functional partners including Process Engineering, Integration, and Product Development to ensure successful technology transfer and ramp into high-volume manufacturing. Own determining actions required to deliver best-in-class yield levels across the APTM portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis through JMP, Python, or other data engineering software

- In-depth understanding and hands-on application of statistical analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in structured technical problem-solving
- Demonstrated understanding of product design/circuit/architecture as relevant for yield analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of inline metrology capabilities as relevant for yield analysis
