Job Summary
Operate imaging equipment and software proficiently to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring radiation safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Prioritize effective patient communication and safety while collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Maintain knowledge of biohazard safety and Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations, adhering to ALARA standards and adjusting protocols as needed. This role requires one year of relevant experience, state licensure, and NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification. Candidates must possess strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and attention-to-detail skills, with the physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and walk for prolonged periods. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine
- required clinical hours have been completed
- One (1) years of relevant experience
- State licensure
- NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
