Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring radiation safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Prioritize effective patient communication, follow ALARA standards, and adhere to biohazard safety and NRC regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care, utilizing strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills. Requires one year of relevant experience, NMTCB or ARRT certification, and state licensure. Involves prolonged standing, lifting 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine
- required clinical hours have been completed
- One (1) years of relevant experience
- State licensure
- NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of proper radiation safety by following ALARA standards
