Job Summary
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Instructor will teach courses in advanced manufacturing, including applied computer use, mathematics, blueprint reading and setup, calibration, and operation of complex machine tools. Responsibilities include classroom lecture and hands-on precision machining instruction, developing curriculum as needed, maintaining student records, and participating in program planning and oversight. Additional duties include attendance at convocation and committee/meetings, and working to respond to workforce needs through program development and collaboration with industry partners.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and ten (10) or more years of manufacturing technology industry experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and a five (5) or more years of manufacturing technology industry experience and a CSCU community college advanced manufacturing technology certificate or nationally recognized credential (i.e. NIMS, AWS, MSSC)
- Advanced Manufacturing Technology Associate's Degree and five (5) or more years of manufacturing technology industry experience.
