Job Summary
The AME Senior Manager leads the definition and execution of global manufacturing strategy for Infrastructure Solutions with a focus on equipment strategy, process architecture, and capacity enablement. Responsible for equipment specifications, FAT/SAT, capital deployment, and commissioning governance, while standardizing processes and work content across fabrication, assembly, and test operations. Partners with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to embed manufacturing strategy into NPDI programs, drive KPIs and productivity targets, and enable scalable, repeatable manufacturing through modular design, IE principles, and continuous improvement. Requires experience in ETO/high-mix environments, strong systems thinking, data-driven decision making, and 10–30% international travel.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Experience owning equipment deployment, process design, and industrialization initiatives
- Strong background in ETO or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
- Ability to translate strategy into executable plant-level solutions
- 10–30% international travel required to support global deployments and site engagement
