Job Summary
This Contract position for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer involves representational duties in product development, leading cost reduction projects, and improving corporate manufacturing standards. The role requires significant experience in manufacturing engineering and a strong foundation in Lean practices, operating in an office environment with some travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, or VAVE roles
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and paint processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, Process Flow, and cost analysis
- Excellent communication and project management skills for cross-functional integration
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP
