Job Summary
Advanced Manufacturing Division Director responsible for leading a small team of ~5 engineers/technicians, managing ~5 programs’ cost/schedule/quality/deliverables, communicating technical developments to customers, and driving additive manufacturing initiatives from lab to product. Role includes building and mentoring the division’s customer base and programs, delegating work based on expertise and timelines, conducting performance evaluations, recruiting and training staff, performing cost analyses, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Requires strong leadership, program management, and technical oversight in additive manufacturing, MEMS/nanotechnology, and microelectronics domains, with experience in budgeting, stakeholder communication, and collaboration with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years of experience
- Experience operating, developing, maintaining additive manufacturing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate
- Understanding of project or product development
- Excellent managerial/supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain final Secret DoD clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Authorization to work for employers in the U.S. without sponsorship
