Job Summary
Advanced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in pediatrics at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Responsible for psychosocial assessment, development and implementation of patient/family treatment plans, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, crisis intervention, grief counseling, and education. Includes clinical supervision of unlicensed MSW/fellows or students, training and onboarding of new staff, and contributing to department and hospital-wide quality and educational initiatives. Requires independent clinical judgment, caseload management, trauma-informed and family-centered practice, and strong communication/documentation skills in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program or equivalent (as demonstrated by licensure)
- Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
