Job Summary
Field-based Advanced Laser Microscopy Sales Specialist responsible for regional sales and support of advanced microscopy products (confocal, multiphoton, superresolution) in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Lead instrument demonstrations, provide customer training, respond to RFPs, build deep product and application knowledge, collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to achieve sales targets, and maintain CRM data. Requires advanced microscopy expertise, scientific communication skills, and the ability to travel; relocation package offered for qualified candidates. Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate to or operate from Seattle area.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced University Degree in life sciences (PhD or MSc preferred)
- Experience with life sciences microscopy and confocal microscopy
- Scientific optical instrumentation sales or applications experience preferred
- Must be comfortable in a collaborative team selling environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software
