Job Summary
Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist sought to join Baylor Scott & White Health’s Greater Austin Region, focusing on inpatient and outpatient services with predominance in Lakeway, TX, and additional rounding in Round Rock and Temple. Responsibilities include inpatient service related to the VAD/HTx program, VAD/HTx clinic, potential ECHO rotation, and performing right heart catheterizations and endomyocardial biopsy-related procedures. The role supports an expanding heart failure/transplant service with opportunities for teaching Cardiology Fellows, and rotating service on the inpatient cardiac transplant service at Temple. Required Qualifications
- Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants.
- Fellowship trained in advanced heart failure.
- Board certified or board eligible in cardiology.
- Ability to provide inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant coverage.
- Involvement in education and research encouraged.
