Job Summary
Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist sought to join MercyOne Iowa Heart Center in Des Moines. You’ll work with a team of 4 physicians and 1 APP delivering advanced therapies across a broad program including Barostim, LVAD management, implantable device care, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiac imaging. Responsibilities include managing a high-volume clinic (13-17 patients/day), performing readings and testing, providing outreach clinic opportunities, and maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered, community-based heart failure care. The role offers an income-guarantee structure ($600k start, rising to $650k), a $150k recruitment incentive, paid malpractice with tail coverage, retirement plans, CME allowance, and visa support for J1/H1B candidates.
