Job Summary
Provide inpatient consultative and outpatient care for advanced heart failure patients, managing mechanical circulatory support including de novo implantation of LVAD, Impella, and ECMO, and overseeing post-operative management of heart transplant recipients. Deliver primary night and weekend call coverage with a 1:5 ratio and minimal general call responsibility within the new Advanced Heart Failure Center at HealthPark Medical Center. Lead a multidisciplinary team offering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for heart failure, collaborating closely with regional transplant centers for complex cases.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
- Proficient in management of mechanical circulatory support, including de novo implantation of LVAD, Impella and ECMO and post-operative management of heart transplant recipients
- Primary night call and weekend call coverage 1:5 with minimal general call responsibility
