Job Summary

Deliver expert care for advanced heart failure patients, from diagnosis to long-term management, in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Evaluate and manage patients for therapies including ventricular assist devices (VADs) and heart transplantation. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team comprising transplant surgeons, heart failure nurses, and pharmacists to develop individualized care plans. Participate in clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives aimed at enhancing heart failure outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and management of heart failure. Requires MD or DO, board certification in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology, and at least 3 years of post-fellowship experience. Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in both Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology
  • Proven expertise in managing complex heart failure and advanced therapy cases
  • at least 3 years of post-fellowship experience
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
