Job Summary
Conduct advanced head and neck ablative cases, microvascular reconstructions, TOLMS/TORS, endoscopic skull base surgery, and advanced trauma under limited mentorship. Manage thyroid/parathyroid surgeries including minimally invasive techniques and re-operative procedures while participating in intraoperative resident teaching and limited research. Select case mix to ensure a balanced ablative and reconstructive experience, with optional assistance at the VA or county hospital. No call or clinic responsibilities exist; a California Medical License is required. This one-year operative program offers broad exposure with mission electives strongly encouraged.

- 8 full-time fellowship trained Head & Neck surgical oncologist
- 5 performing microvascular reconstructions
- Two additional Head & Neck oncologic surgeons practice at our VA facility
- Two endoscopic skull based surgeons
- three facial plastic/reconstructive surgeons
- three laryngologist
