Job Summary
Advanced Database/Web Engineer at Rincon Research Corporation responsible for leading the design and implementation of data systems with web and database components, analyzing and maintaining databases and web interfaces, and adding features to operational systems. Responsibilities include implementing signal processing and other algorithms with efficient software, testing with real data, delivering applications to front-line facilities, and creating effective user interfaces and data visualization tools. Stay up-to-date with technologies and experiment with new tools to improve projects; work across systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M; propose improvements; work unsupervised with minimal direction. Requires 8+ years in full-stack development, proficiency in C++ and Python in Linux, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, relational data modeling, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Location options: Centennial, CO or Tucson, AZ; remote work not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum 8 years' experience in full-stack application development
- Experience building scalable web applications with modern frontend and backend technologies
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- Proficient in C++ and Python in Linux environments
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Demonstrated ability to design software systems for functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
- US citizenship required

- Cloud and DevOps experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
