Advanced Engineering Technician

Job Summary

Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to support the design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry. Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems while conducting statistically based experiments to define process parameters. Implement complex solutions for process improvement and design basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks. Analyze data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and recommend resolutions. This role involves working with Engineering, Operations Support, and other departments to develop mission-critical systems that help keep people safe using advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Physics.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
  • Looking for AA Electronics Engineering Technology degree or Military experience
