Advanced Engineer, Transducer

Job Summary
Support NPD/R&D projects and facilitate transducer engineers for all transducer engineering activities, including virtual design, sample validation, and cost efficiency analysis. Participate in developing common work practices, procedures, and design standards while ensuring documentation such as sketches, BOMs, and acoustic data sheets defines and verifies designs. Keep abreast of world-class best practices in audio product design, development, and manufacturing techniques. Lead project teams and coordinate activities among transducer, materials, test, quality, and supplier engineering members. Set objectives, measure performance, and develop engineers through coaching and counseling. Work within the Automotive Audio Division in Suzhou, with up to 15% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in transducer design
- Knowledge/use of various modeling/analysis/FEA packages (e.g., Magnet, ANSYS)
- Experience of leading project teams
- Understanding of world-class best practices in transducer design, development, and manufacturing techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in English
- Willingness to travel up to 15%, domestically and internationally
- Willingness to work in the R&D Center in Suzhou
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the OEM customers' expectations and requirements
- Background of automotive speaker
