Job Summary
Develop and track project timelines, milestones, and launch readiness plans for new product introductions while identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies. Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost, timing, and quality targets. Lead trial builds, pilot runs, and pre-production activities for airbag modules, cushions, and inflators, supporting APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP submissions to secure customer approvals. Manage customer meetings, technical reviews, and program status updates to communicate specifications and expectations effectively. Ensure projects meet approved financial targets and implement corrective actions based on manufacturing performance monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
- 7 to 10 years of experience in automotive program management, project management, or related engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with cross-functional coordination in a global automotive environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with safety-critical products (e.g., airbags)
