Job Summary
Assist with prescribed endoscopic procedures in accordance with department policies; handle, process, and turnover endoscopy procedural equipment and rooms; participate in training and orientation of new technicians and students; maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions; ensure equipment readiness, proper storage, and stock levels; stay updated on SGNA and AAMI standards; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams; contribute to procedure setup, equipment setup, and room turnover; participate in call rotation and may provide departmental business support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Two to three years experience as an Endoscopy Technician
- BLS certification
- SGNA certification within one year in role
