Job Summary
Lead an elective advanced GI service line as a BE/BC Advanced Endoscopist with a substantial base salary and strong incentives in a tertiary care setting. Primary responsibility is running the elective advanced GI program, with APP support and coverage of inpatient general GI duties by other fellowship-trained colleagues. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care within a comprehensive GI ecosystem, including collaboration with bariatric surgery, interventional radiology, hepatology, and transplant services. Fellowship-trained in advanced GI is required or willingness to undergo training in endobariatric procedures; the operation features a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite, integration with Epic/Provation documentation, and opportunities for relocation assistance and CME reimbursement. The position is based in Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, a full-time, senior-level clinical role in a growth-focused GI program in a Mountain West location, with a strong emphasis on a satisfying work-life balance alongside a robust clinical and academic environment.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Endoscopy or Gastroenterology
- Fellowship Training in Advanced GI
- Ability to work in a high-volume elective advanced GI practice
- Appreciation for multidisciplinary care and collaboration
- Experience with or willingness to undergo training in endobariatric procedures
- Involvement in both outpatient and inpatient GI services
- Board certification or eligibility within GI
