Job Summary
Provides Advanced Life Support services during emergency situations, including assessing and treating critically ill or injured patients. Skilled in performing advanced medical techniques such as intubation, vascular access, and medication administration. Responsible for directing and managing patient care at emergency scenes, ensuring quality care, completing patient reports, and maintaining communication with hospital staff. Requires strong technical medical skills, the ability to work under stress, and effective management of first responders. Additional duties include maintaining medical equipment and vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Must possess and maintain unrestricted AEMT Licensure / Certification
- Must possess and maintain CPR for the Health Care Provider (AHA, ASHI, ECSI)
- Must possess and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Must possess and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Must possess and maintain unrestricted state driver’s license.
- Must have completed CEVO or EVOC upon date of hire
- Must possess NIMS 700.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in ICS 100 & 200; 300 & 400 preferred but not required
- Certification in FEMA IS-800
