Advanced EMT - Decatur Morgan EMS - PRN - Shift Varies

Administer life support care to sick and injured persons in a pre-hospital setting per statewide Treatment Protocols and HEMSI Medical Control Physicians. Perform ambulance and equipment maintenance, ensuring radio gear remains operational. Respond to calls within time guidelines while delivering appropriate basic and advanced life support care. Maintain competency in skills including suction, immobilization, IV infusions, medications, and cardiac monitoring. Complete patient care reports and accurately document care at the time of delivery. Communicate with call coordinators, dispatch, and receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical information. Participate in continuous education programs and establish positive relationships with local pre-hospital providers and hospitals. Adhere to facility guidelines, state, and federal laws while safely driving an ambulance under emergency conditions.
