Job Summary
Emergency medical care provider delivering prehospital and hospital-based EMS, performing advanced life support and basic life support duties, including airway management, ventilation, oxygenation, cardiovascular support, immobilization, and IV/medication administration; drives EMS vehicle; completes regulatory documentation; maintains equipment and inventory of supplies; ensures compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies; requires PA AEMT license or EMS Compact Privilege, valid driver’s license, and background/clearance checks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PA AEMT license or EMS Compact Privilege to Practice in Pennsylvania at the AEMT level
- EMSVO within 30 days of hire
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- HIPAA compliance awareness
