Job Summary
Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, including systems with advanced auxiliary components. Work across Level 2–4 service technician roles with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting of 3-motion cranes, VFDs, encoder-based systems, rotor hooks, exotic brakes, and PLCs; assist in project estimating; mentor junior technicians; maintain detailed service documentation; communicate repair plans and required parts to customers; operate in field service environments with adherence to OEM manuals and OSHA standards. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- technical training or certifications preferred
- Experience in crane service or industrial maintenance
- Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments
