Job Summary
Advanced Crane Service Technician across Level 2–Master levels performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists; services include 3-motion cranes with VFDs, troubleshooting brake systems (Whiting SESA, Magnetek), diagnosing AC control circuits, and reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Role involves rigging/installing new crane equipment, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining detailed service documentation while adhering to OSHA standards. Requires high school diploma or GED (technical training or certifications preferred), strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license. Relocation is available; the position is based in Logan, OH. Competence with communicating repair plans to customers and working in industrial environments is required.
