Job Summary
One-year non-ACGME Advanced Coronary and Minimally Invasive Robotic Cardiac Surgery Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. The fellow will be exposed to all aspects of advanced coronary and minimally invasive pre-operative evaluation and planning, operative techniques, and post-operative care, with clinical research responsibilities aligned to the fellowship format. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited Thoracic Surgery program or equivalent and be eligible for New York medical licensure by July 2023, with USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 completed and ECFMG certified. The program is directed by Dr. Nirav Patel and will involve mentorship within a team including Dr. Frank Manetta. Required Qualifications
- Completed ACGME accredited Thoracic Surgery program or equivalent
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York by July 2023
- USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2 completed
- ECFMG certified
- One-year non-ACGME clinical fellowship in Advanced Coronary and Minimally Invasive Robotic Cardiac Surgery
