Job Summary
Set up tools and machinery according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications while adjusting controls and bar loaders for individual projects. Verify measuring equipment is operational and perform all tasks in accordance with established safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision. Requires 5 years of CNC machining experience, knowledge of FANUC controls, and ability to read charts and drawings. Available for 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- CNC machining experience
- Knowledge of FANUC controls
- Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.
- Able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety procedures relating to setting up CNC machinery and handling materials
- Ability to interpret, edit, and program efficiently, when required
- Must be able to set up CNC machinery with minimal supervision
- Must be able to follow directions and perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Strong communication skills to work as part of a team
- 5 years minimum experience in a related role
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus
