Job Summary
Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator who creates, manages, and evaluates education/training programs; may include direct patient/family care, consultation, teaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, and leadership development. Role emphasizes education aligned with Cognitive, Humanist, or Brain-Based Learning Theories; requires a GA RN license, BLS, and behavioral health experience, with certification instruction within 6 months of hire and ACLS/PALS desirable. Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience and alignment with Grady’s patient-centered, collaborative, and continuous-improvement culture. Required Qualifications
- Four years of clinical nursing experience required
- Current Georgia RN license
- BLS certification required
- Behavioral Health experience or knowledge required
- Certified AHA ECC Instructor - BLS (required within 6 months of hire)
- ACLS and/or PALS desired
