Job Summary
Advanced Care Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) join Internal Medicine teams to conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with Chief Medical Officers. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKGs; managing chronic conditions; promoting preventive care through immunizations and screenings; coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams; and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Weekend coverage may be required. Qualifications include NYS NP or PA licensure, BLS & ACLS, 2+ years of practice, and preferred experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine. Compensation ranges $170,000-$190,000 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA
- BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2+ year’s experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
- Availability to work 4 days x 10 hour shifts and two Saturdays or Sundays per month
- Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine (Preferred)
