Job Summary
Two integrated roles are described in Kemmerer, WY. Advanced Care Paramedic duties include providing basic and advanced life support on-site, responding to emergencies using Advanced Life Support protocols, supporting routine medical care under the Clinical Team Leader, leading and participating in on-site emergency drills, and related OHSA/occupational health requirements. Nurse Practitioner – Clinical Team Lead responsibilities include implementing site operating procedures, medical plans and clinic policies, managing day-to-day operations of clinics, coordinating occupational rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, prescribing within regulatory standards, utilizing electronic medical records, conducting audits, and leading health-education and preventive medicine activities. Both roles require relevant licensure, certifications, and emergency medicine experience as detailed in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited NREMT program
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Paramedic in the State of Wyoming
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Maintain certification as a CPR / First Aid Instructor
- Occupational Health qualification or significant experience (Certifications may be obtained through and sponsored by Aspen Medical)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- One year of experience within the last two years as a Nationally Registered Paramedic
- Possess and maintain national certification (NREMT or NRP)
- Master's degree in nursing
- Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wyoming
- Be certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor
- Qualifications in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment
- Post Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experience
- Certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or AANP
- Occupational Health qualification or significant experience
