Advanced Care Paramedic 911 - Full Time 40hrs/week

Advanced Care Paramedic for 911 response providing advanced emergency and nonemergency medical care with expanded scope of practice. Duties include conducting detailed patient assessments, conducting and interpreting 12 Lead EKGs, providing medications and procedures within scope, performing IV placement and airway management, and coordinating with board-certified emergency physicians to determine treatment and transport plans. Role involves mobile integrated EMS operations, ensuring proper documentation in electronic medical records, adhering to clinical protocols, and contributing to quality improvement through participation in M&M rounds and interdepartmental collaboration. Requires completion of an accredited paramedic program, national and state paramedic certifications, BLS/ACLS/PALS, MA driver’s license, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Location: Lowell General Hospital, Cambridge, MA area; 40 hours per week with days/evenings/overnights and rotating weekends/holidays.
