Advanced Bakery Operative

Advanced Bakery Operative with responsibility for owning and optimizing an automated production area. Operate and set production machinery according to SOPs, uphold HS&E and Food Safety standards, identify faults and work with Engineering to implement improvements. Implement CIL practices to maximise equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve quality, and ensure the area remains audit-ready while meeting production targets. Demonstrate flexibility and leadership to meet changing production demands. About You: Proven bakery/food manufacturing experience in automated environments; strong machine operation, troubleshooting, and process control knowledge; solid food safety, hygiene, and compliance understanding; numeracy, literacy, and IT skills to support production systems and reporting; proactive, solution-focused mindset; strong teamwork and communication to influence and support colleagues on shift.
