Job Summary
Advanced Analytics Analyst in Medtronic's Corporate Audit Data Analytics team. Supports design and execution of data analytics solutions that enhance risk-based audits, SOX activities, and advisory engagements. Develops and executes data queries, transformations, and analytical models using SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Platform. Collaborates with audit teams and business partners to translate data requirements into analytical approaches, creates dashboards and reporting solutions to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and documents objectives, data sources, models, methodologies, and testing results. Works with large enterprise datasets, evaluates data quality, and manages multiple assignments while escalating risks or issues as appropriate. Builds cross-functional relationships with IT, data teams, and stakeholders. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in analytics-related roles; travel up to 30%. Remote work option noted; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is limited to Principal level and above. Salary range: $76,000–$114,000 (USD) for U.S. locations; benefits package described.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in Audit (e.g., Big 4 or similar), Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, or another analytical role.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar technologies.
