Job Summary
Orthopaedic surgeon position at a Level II Trauma Center in Erie, PA within UPMC Hamot, featuring a 1:1 model with an advanced practice provider, a dedicated Joint Unit and Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement, and a high-volume surgical program. Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction is preferred. The role includes Epic and Cerner EMR systems, in-house imaging and DME, expansive referral network, dedicated block OR scheduling, and a robust benefits package including a $50K sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, PTO, CME stipend, and malpractice coverage. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- Accredited Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program completion
- Fellowship preferred, not required
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
