Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon needed at UPMC Hamot/Erie Level II Trauma Center with expansion in adult reconstruction. Fellowship training in adult reconstruction preferred; 1:1 model with advanced practice providers; high-volume total joint replacement program; dedicated joint unit; in-house radiology and DME; Epic and Cerner EMR systems; ACGME-accredited orthopaedic residency program; opportunity to join a nationally recognized, non-profit health system with PSLF eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Requires MD/DO, completed orthopaedic residency, and board eligibility or certification; PA medical license and DEA certification. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- Accredited Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program completion or open to recent fellowship-trained surgeons
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
