Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon opportunity at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA with Level II Trauma Center experience and a strong focus on adult reconstruction. Fellowship training preferred with a 1:1 model alongside an advanced practice provider in a dedicated Joint Unit and Total Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. Office located within walking distance to hospital with high-volume surgical program and in-house X-ray and DME. Epic and Cerner EMR systems in use; Board-eligible or Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery; PA medical license and DEA certification required. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- Accredited Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program completion
- Fellowship preferred, not required
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
