Job Summary
Dismantle and reassemble vehicles for accurate estimating, perform in-depth tear downs to assess damage, and document all accident damages with paint pens, photographs, and descriptions. Accurately estimate vehicle damage using MPI policies and capture labor and parts operations via OEM repair procedures. Collaborate with the production team, parts team, CSR's, and MPI to provide updates on estimated vehicles. Estimate an average of 5 vehicles per day for internal and retail customers while ensuring compliance with company policies for cost control, quality, safety, and on-time delivery. Requires 2+ years of autobody estimation experience, ICAR certification (preferred), and proficiency with Mitchell Connect. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of training or equal years of experience with autobody estimation
- Hands-on training/experience using Mitchell Connect and/or other industry standard software
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, bend and stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission
