Job Summary
Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide care to patients from birth through adulthood across OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, General/Vascular Surgery, and Cardiology. Works collaboratively with the team to examine and treat patients, perform procedural care, assessment, and treatment of acute injuries and illnesses, manage laceration repair, prescribe and interpret tests, maintain records compliant with Federal and State regulations, and provide telemedicine services as needed. Requires graduate NP program completion, Florida Board certification, active Family Nurse Practitioner certification, and BLS. Candidates should have outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of OSHA and CLIA guidelines, proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office, and the ability to delegate and make sound clinical judgments while maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced environment. Salary is based on experience; benefits include Health and Medical Benefits and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified in the State of FL
- Active Certification by the Board of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner - BC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of Urgent Care Procedures (a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to navigate EMR and MS Office
- 2 years related experience
