Job Summary
Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. Requires Nurse Practitioner degree and Florida NP licensure with prescriptive privileges or eligibility, AANP/ANCC/ONCC certification, and BLS. Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership in directing care, and travel to clinics as needed. Comprehensive background and drug/nicotine screening, vaccinations, and compliance with workplace policies are required. FCS offers extensive benefits and a drug-free workplace environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Master’s degree in nursing or post-master’s NP certificate
- Current Florida license/registration to practice, prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply
- Certification from AANP, ANCC, or ONCC
- BLS certification
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to communicate with diverse populations
- Leadership skills to direct others toward objectives in patient care
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record with auto coverage (driving record check post-offer)
- Background screening, drug and nicotine screens, and required vaccinations (influenza) as conditions of employment
