Job Summary
Advance Practice Provider in Total Joint orthopedic team. Provides health care services under the supervision of an orthopaedic physician, including histories/physicals, patient education, routine labs, and PT reports; interprets data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan; collaborates with physicians on plan of care; maintains records; executes physician-specified protocols; administers first aid, injections, aspirations, sutures/staples placement; assists with reductions of fractures/dislocations and removal of superficial hardware; assists in surgery as directed; maintains regular attendance; works cooperatively with others.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Graduate of PA educational program recognized by state authorities
- National Board for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification or eligibility
- Valid Physician Assistant license
