Job Summary
The advanced practice provider will work in Bradley Physician Services, taking medical histories, examining and treating patients, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging (e.g., x-rays, CT, MRI), and making diagnoses. They will prescribe medications and ancillary services (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietary and behavioral health consults) and provide patient education. Responsibilities are performed in collaboration with a supervising physician and other PAs/NPs, and include supporting hospital policies and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a flexible schedule, within a physician office/clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed as a Registered PA or APRN, or eligible for license, in state of Tennessee
- AHA BLS CPR required
- Two years’ experience in Neurology preferred
