Job Summary
Clinic-based Advanced Practice Provider coordinates post-discharge care and clinic visits for patients undergoing conventional and minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgeries. The role includes daily review of the clinic inbox, coordination across OR/ICU/PCU/surgical units within a single hospital site, and support for procedures such as sternotomy-based cardiac surgeries and minimally invasive mitral valve surgery, including robot-assisted cases with DaVinci XI. APP-driven service within a high-performing Cardiac Surgery program at St. Michael Medical Center in the Pacific Northwest.
Required Qualifications
- Clinic-based position
- Coordinate care from discharge to clinic visit
- Daily review of clinic inbox
- Full spectrum conventional cardiac and thoracic surgery (except VAD, ECMO and transplant)
- Hospital based - OR, ICU, PCU, surgical units
- Single hospital practice
- Traditional sternotomy based cardiac surgeries
- Minimally invasive mitral valve surgery
- All lung resection surgeries performed with DaVinci XI robot
- APP driven service
