Job Summary
Adv Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Neonatology in a Level III NICU at Aurora BayCare Medical Center-Green Bay requires a Master’s degree in nursing with active RN and APRN licenses, national board certification, and DEA registration. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing treatment plans for neonatal patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, prescribing interventions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including maternal-fetal medicine. Responsibilities include resuscitation for infants 22 weeks and older, participation in transports and high-risk deliveries, documentation in the EMR, quality and safety initiatives, and education/onboarding of staff. The schedule is full-time, with 40 hours per week and shifts ranging 8, 10, or 14 hours in a Level III NICU, with 24-hour coverage expectations. Requirements also include certification and training in BLS/ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable, and adherence to department policies and procedures. The position is based in Green Bay, WI, with a second location in Marinette, WI, and includes comprehensive benefits and compensation as described by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license and APRN license in states of practice (APRN-APRN-FPA/APNP)
- Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served
- Active DEA registration prior to hire
- If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire
- Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
