Job Summary
Conducts assessments of patients to evaluate their physical and behavioral health, coordinating with treatment teams to provide ongoing psychiatric management and education. Responsible for documentation, billing, and adhering to service volume standards. Requires advanced licensure and a Master's degree in Nursing, with at least 2 years of practical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Actively licensed by the DC Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA licensure
- Active CDS licensure issued by the District
- Current BLS/ALCS/PALS
- Licensure must be in good standing with DC Medicaid Board and be free from sanctions
Desired Qualifications
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified
- Experienced in medication management
