Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations for the Regent Center facility, including scheduling programs, supervising instructors, volunteers, and contractors, and managing front desk and rental support. Develop and execute a comprehensive calendar of social, recreational, educational, and wellness activities while creating publicity materials, newsletters, and annual marketing plans. Promote memberships, process payments, and evaluate program effectiveness to meet community needs. This part-time role requires 25 hours per week Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, with occasional night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one year of experience in the field
- CPR, First Aid and AED Certification
- Valid Illinois class D driver's license
- Part-time position working 25 hours per week
- Monday - Friday between 9:00am - 3:00pm
- Working some nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Recreation Administration, Education, Gerontology or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in the field
- Certification as a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP)
