Adult Social Worker - Review Team

Job Summary
Manage a caseload of adults with complex needs by carrying out statutory reviews of care and support plans and completing detailed, holistic assessments. Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries to ensure adults at risk are protected from abuse or neglect while analysing information from individuals, families, and partner agencies to inform defensible decision-making. Review existing packages of care to ensure they remain appropriate, cost-effective, and outcome-focused, applying a strengths-based approach to promote independence, choice, and control. Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to contribute to effective care planning and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualified experience, including completion of ASYE
- Strong experience within Adult Social Care
- Proven experience managing complex casework
- Experience undertaking Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
- Experience completing: Care Act assessments and statutory reviews
- Experience completing: Mental Capacity Assessments
- Experience completing: Risk assessments and support planning
- Experience working within a multi-agency environment
- Experience reviewing and managing care packages
