Job Summary
Coach and assist individuals with IDD/ASD in hygiene routines, chore completion, meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational activities. Monitor home and community safety while facilitating transportation and supporting goal achievement. Complete required paperwork and coordinate with DDS service coordinators to ensure access to appropriate services. Full-time role Monday through Friday, noon to 8 pm. Valid driver's license required; MAPS certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be MAPS certified or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, which runs Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM
- Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse

- Drug screening required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education
- Previous experience working with individuals with IDD/ASD
