Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) - PRN in Louisiana. Provides respiratory care to neonatal through geriatric patients, including oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support. Performs RT-CRT set-ups, monitors and weans oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; draws and analyzes ABGs; delivers intermittent therapy; assists with airway management. Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans; adheres to policies and procedures; remains knowledgeable on applicable laws and standards; flexible schedule (days or nights). Requires Associate's Degree; current Respiratory Therapist license in-state; NBRC-credentialed RRT; BLS; ACLS within 90 days. Proficiency with Windows applications and data entry; strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to travel between facilities; (equal opportunity employer).
